There are many places in the world that are frequented by divers such as Bonaire. You can read many different Bonaire dive resort reviews to check out how awesome the place is. It has many dive sites that almost anyone can access including those that can be executed from the shore which offers a rare chance to dive the exact same place as often as you want.

You could choose from four different major areas in the island depending on your preferences. The north sections have gentler slopes and surrounding reef which are usually easier dives than usual. The south sites have a little stronger current and is deeper and normally consist of steeper drops. East site is commonly a washing machine and the little island nearby have a better vision clarity because of the lacking runoff compared to mainland.

Shore diving is what makes the island popular because of its ease and predictability and not being too deep. You do not need to worry about your level of experience because different spots are available that caters to your preferences.

It is easy to find the diving sites because they are represented with a huge yellow rock with its name painted on. Just drive around until you spot a yellow rock and check its description on the guide and go diving if it interested you. There are also spots in front of the hotels that can be approached from ports or stairs that leads to the sea.

Leaving your valuables inside the rented car unattended is not advisable. Reports have been made of some things being stolen when left inside rental cars. If you do not want to leave those things in your hotel, you could take turns in guarding it or use a waterproof bag instead.

A typical day depends on if you are doing shore dives, boat dives or both. You can do it any time you want and most packages allows you to check out many tanks. The amount of dives that you could do in a day is really dependent on the energy you have and the time spent at the bottom.

Be aware of some rules to be followed during the dive and the operators are very defensive of the reefs in the island. You will be given a warning the first time you are seen destroying or touching the reef and will be taken out of the sea the second time. Taking anything out from the sea like corals and seashells is strictly not allowed.

The island usually experience great weather so you can dive all year round. There is a chance of a hurricane to hit during the months of June to November though. Previous hurricanes have even managed to damage some shallow reefs even.
